Chinese Culture Connection (CCC) held its Fourth Annual Gala and Award Banquet on Friday, April 17th, 2009 at the Jin Asian Cuisine Restaurant.

The evening featured a keynote speaker, Dr. Alice Hsin, who gave an excellent speach. Founder and CEO of Linx Communication, Dr. Hsin is one of the foremost experts in the areas of integrated telecommunications systems, services and applications. She directed technology projects and provided strategic consulting to a range of government agencies. In addition, Dr. Hsin is also currently president of Hsin Investments, a Washington, DC-based investment company specializing in global technology-based companies in optical fiber communications, information technologies, secure web technology and biotechnology.

The gala program included the authentic Chinese banquet, performances and both live and silent auctions of many fabulous items.  It also served as an award ceremony to recognize individuals who have achieved excellence in arts and culture and contributed their talents and passion in serving the community. This year’s recipients are: Ms. Liwen Wang (王麗文), a multi-talented performer and teacher in dance and music, and Rick Wong (黃仁君), the director of the Chinese Martial Arts Center of Melrose, MA.

More than two hundred guests attended this wonderful event from Boston and surrounding area. Master Yu Guang just came back from China a week ago. Even though he is very busy Master Yu attended this banquet. During the dinner Master Yu was talking to people cheerfully. Many guests came to Master Yu asking about Fengshui and took pictures with him.
